The next DATC meeting will be Monday, May 20th 2013 at 6:30 PM near the bar in Sorrento Pizza located at 104 N Market St. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
The agenda will primarily be focused on managing the upcoming Saturday June 1st, 2013 Duncannon AT Community Festival. Topics will include attracting more volunteers, vendors and attendees.

I had a fun day out in the woods with the Susquehanna Appalachian Trail Club in the Stony Creek valley. We spent the day planting 1,100 three year old White Pine seedlings, doing rock work and clearing blow-downs.
The White Pine seedlings are needed to help replace the beautiful Hemlock groves which will all eventually be destroyed by the invasive Woolly Adelgid.
