Duncannon is proud to be an official Appalachian Trail Community. Each year, thousands of hikers pass directly through our town on the iconic Appalachian Trail, experiencing our businesses, our hospitality, and the unique character that makes Duncannon special. Our designation through the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) recognizes the partnership between the Trail and our community, and it is something we can continue to strengthen together.
On behalf of the Duncannon Appalachian Trail Community (DATC), I am inviting you to become an official A.T. Community Supporter. This annual program is designed to celebrate and promote the local businesses and organizations that help make Duncannon a welcoming and vibrant stop along the Trail. By joining annually, you publicly demonstrate your ongoing support for the hiking community and align your business with a nationally recognized network while also receiving meaningful local and national visibility.
2026 Annual A.T. Community Supporter Levels
1) A.T. Community Supporter – $0
● Official designation as an “A.T. Community Supporter” through the ATC
● See attached page for complete list of ATC Community Supporter benefits!!
2) DATC Supporter – $50 Donation
Includes all previous benefits, plus:
● Business listing on local signage at Hawk Rock parking lot and on DATC website
● Recognition on future wayfinding signs throughout Duncannon as a A.T. Community Supporter
3) Festival Sponsor – $300 Donation
Includes all previous benefits, plus:
● Official sponsorship recognition at the DATC Festival and sponsor highlights on social media
4) Stage/Event Sponsor – TBD
● Reach out to Jeff Martz (jmartz889@gmail.com) for details around sponsoring a specific event (band, activity, etc.) or entire stage at the DATC Festival.
