A crew is planning to sweep the entire 8-mile Cove Mountain AT section on Saturday October 17th. Currently the plan is to meet at the Hawk Rock Trail parking lot at 0800 and carpool from there to the PA-850 trailhead parking lot.

We will carry a chainsaw, the Kombi System, loppers, and hand saws. We have at least two large blow downs to clean and several smaller step-overs. We will widen the path to the pipeline overlook. If time allows we will check the Cove Mountain Shelter on our way through.
